KPV

KPV is a short peptide made up of three amino acids, derived from the tail end of alpha-MSH, a naturally occurring hormone that research has associated with the immune system and skin comfort.

Research suggests that this three amino acid sequence carries much of the parent hormone activity in relation to the inflammatory response, while being smaller and more stable.

Unlike the full hormone, KPV is not associated with changes in skin pigmentation. Research into KPV is ongoing and largely preclinical, and individual responses vary.
